ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100D certified industrial electroplating services.
During electroplating, the plated metal or other insoluble material is used as the anode, and the workpiece to be plated is used as the cathode. The cations of the plated metal are reduced to form a coating on the surface of the workpiece to be plated. In order to eliminate the interference of other cations and make the coating uniform and firm, a solution containing the metal cations of the coating layer needs to be used as the plating solution to keep the concentration of the metal cations of the coating layer unchanged.
The purpose of electroplating is to plate a metal coating on the substrate to change the surface properties or dimensions of the substrate. Electroplating can enhance the corrosion resistance of metals (most of the coating metals are corrosion-resistant metals), increase hardness, prevent abrasion, improve conductivity, smoothness, heat resistance and beautiful surface.
Surface Treatment Process
A technology that uses the principle of an electrolytic cell to deposit a metal coating on a mechanical product with good adhesion, but with different properties and substrate materials. The electroplated layer is more uniform than the hot-dip layer and is generally thinner, ranging from a few microns to tens of microns.
Through electroplating, decorative protective and various functional surface layers can be obtained on mechanical products, as well as repairing worn and mishandled workpieces.
